Refund Policy
At LaunchCompany.ae, we take pride in providing professional company formation, corporate tax registration, VAT compliance, and bank account opening services in the UAE. Every project we handle requires a significant investment of time, effort, and resources, and because of this, we follow a strict yet transparent refund policy. This document outlines the circumstances under which you may be eligible for a refund, when refunds cannot be claimed, and the limitations that apply. By engaging our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. General Principles
- Our refund policy is designed to balance fairness with practicality. While we strive to accommodate reasonable refund requests, certain services, once initiated, cannot be reversed due to legal, governmental, and procedural requirements.
- Refunds, when approved, will always be processed to the original source of payment unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- All refund claims must be made in writing via email to our official support channel within the timelines mentioned in this policy.
2. Eligibility to Claim a Refund
Refund eligibility applies only in specific circumstances where:
- 1. Service Not Initiated:
If you request a refund before we begin processing your application, paperwork, or liaising with government authorities, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund, after deducting any administrative or consultation fees.
- 2. Incorrect Service Charged:
If you were billed incorrectly or charged for a service you did not request, we will refund the incorrect charge in full.
- 3. Duplicate Transactions:
Any accidental duplicate payments made through our system or your bank will be fully refunded after verification.
- 4. Failure to Deliver Service:
If, due to internal errors or unavoidable circumstances on our part, we are unable to deliver the service promised and no governmental application or process has yet been initiated, a partial refund may be considered.
3. Non-Eligibility to Claim a Refund
The following conditions strictly exclude refund eligibility:
- 1. Government Fees & Third-Party Charges:
Once payments are made to UAE government authorities (e.g., DED, Free Zone Authorities, Ministry of Finance, UAE Central Bank) or third parties (banks, notaries, etc.), these amounts are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- 2. Service Already Initiated:
If the service has already been started—such as submission of documents, communication with authorities, or creation of tax/VAT registration files—a refund cannot be issued.
- 3. Change of Mind or Business Decision:
Refunds will not be granted simply because you changed your mind, altered your business plan, or no longer wish to proceed with the service after initiation.
- 4. Incomplete Client Cooperation:
If services cannot be completed due to delays, missing documents, false information, or non-cooperation from the client, no refund will be provided.
- 5. Force Majeure Situations:
Delays or non-completion due to external factors beyond our control, such as government policy changes, legal restrictions, or natural disasters, are not grounds for refunds.
4. Process for Requesting a Refund
To initiate a refund request, the following steps must be followed:
- 1. Written Request:
All refund requests must be submitted in writing to our official email with complete details of the service purchased, payment transaction, and reason for the request.
- 2. Verification:
We will verify the request by checking our records, invoices, and communication with relevant authorities.
- 3. Decision Timeline:
Refund requests will generally be processed within 15–30 business days, depending on the complexity of the case.
- 4. Refund Mode:
Approved refunds will be credited back to the original mode of payment (bank transfer, card, or online payment gateway).
5. Partial Refunds
In certain cases, partial refunds may be approved. This generally applies when:
- Administrative tasks have already been completed (document drafting, initial consultations, or submission preparations).
- Some, but not all, services in a bundled package have been used.
In such cases, refunds will be calculated by deducting the value of the services already delivered plus an administrative fee.
6. Limitation of Liability
- LaunchCompany.ae will not be liable for refund claims exceeding the total amount paid for the service in question.
- We will not refund or compensate for indirect losses such as lost business opportunities, projected profits, or external costs incurred by the client.
- Refunds do not apply to delays caused by government authorities, banks, or regulatory bodies.
7. Refunds Related to Corporate Tax & VAT Registration
- Refunds cannot be issued once we have filed, submitted, or initiated applications with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) or any government department.
- If a client provides false, incomplete, or inaccurate information resulting in rejection, LaunchCompany.ae bears no responsibility, and no refund will be issued.
8. Refunds Related to Business Formation Services
- Refunds are strictly not possible once applications have been filed with the Department of Economic Development (DED), Free Zone Authorities, or other relevant government departments.
- If a trade name has been reserved, a license processed, or documents notarized, all associated costs are non-refundable.
9. Refunds Related to Bank Account Opening Services
- Bank account opening is subject to the bank’s due diligence, compliance, and approval process.
- LaunchCompany.ae facilitates documentation and submission, but cannot guarantee bank approval. Therefore, no refunds will be issued in cases where the bank rejects an application for reasons such as credit history, compliance checks, or client background.
10. Administrative Fees
- In all cases, an administrative fee of د.إ 250 or more (depending on the scope of work already initiated) will be deducted from any approved refund.
- This fee covers initial consultations, advisory time, document review, and operational expenses.
11. Dispute Resolution for Refund Claims
- If a client is dissatisfied with our refund decision, they may request a further review.
- Disputes will be resolved under the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates.
- Any unresolved dispute will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of Dubai courts.
12. User Responsibilities
To avoid refund complications, clients are expected to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and timely information for all services.
- Review service details, pricing, and timelines carefully before placing an order.
- Maintain open communication with our team during the service process.
13. Policy Updates
We may update this Refund Policy periodically to reflect changes in law, government requirements, or business practices. The revised policy will always be posted on our website with an updated effective date.
